Neil Bhatt, renowned for his role as Virat in Star Plus's popular show 'Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin,' has emerged as one of the most beloved personalities on Indian Television. Garnering immense admiration both on social media and in the real world, the actor reflects on his journey as Virat in an exclusive interview with India Forums.
When asked about his perspective on the character's evolution, Neil expresses, "Looking back at the entire journey, I can't help but smile. This show has bestowed upon me so much that whenever I reminisce, a broad smile adorns my face. I am genuinely content and grateful."

Further inquiring about the invaluable gift Virat's character has offered him, Neil reveals, "I believe it has provided me with significant recognition. I neither wish to escape nor dismiss that fact. Portraying Virat has been an artistically demanding experience, as winning the audience's favour and maintaining their support for an extended period with a character like Virat, who constantly wrestles with moral dilemmas, is an arduous task. Such lead roles seldom feature characters like Virat, who are portrayed as fallible human beings rather than infallible superheroes. This realistic and relatable aspect of Virat appealed to me greatly. He commits mistakes, sometimes comprehends them, while other times fails to grasp their implications. Portraying such a character proves to be exceptionally challenging, and thus, this role holds a special place in my heart, as it has enriched me significantly."

Would have definitely liked you better if you had put your professionalism to your job before your marriage. But as Virat (half of Sairat) you did well.

Nobody could've played the complex character of Virat as best as Neil did. I love him for his choice of roles as well as for his love for his craft. I know some jealous haters will come to dislike my post like they have been doing to other posts appreciating Neil and Virat because they don't know any better🤣 but that's not going to change the truth that Neil is a phenomenal actor.
