Neha Kakkar Reacts To Melbourne Show Organiser's Claims

Following claims from show organizers that she refused to perform due to a low turnout of 700 attendees, Neha Kakkar has addressed the controversy surrounding her Melbourne concert. On Tuesday, she shared a video from the concert on her Instagram, offering her perspective on the events. In the clip, Neha was heard saying, “Hi, you want to know what actually happened at the Melbourne show, right? Let me show you."

The video presented highlights from Neha Kakkar's Melbourne performance. It showed her energetically performing on stage, with the audience enthusiastically cheering her on. Fans were also captured expressing their support, shouting, "We love you, Neha," as she sang her popular songs. Sharing this video, Neha Kakkar wrote, “Thank you Melbourne!"

While Neha Kakkar did not directly comment on the organizers' statements, the video appears to counter the allegations.

To recap, Neha Kakkar gained attention when she appeared emotional during her March performance in Melbourne, Australia. Reports indicated she was upset after allegedly hearing "go back" chants due to her reportedly arriving three hours late. Videos of Neha from the stage circulated widely. Subsequently, the singer stated her delay was due to the organizers failing to meet her basic requirements for the show.

In response, Australian event organizers Pace D and Bikram Singh Randhawa recently shared their perspective with Siddharth Kannan.

Beat Production from Melbourne was the one who invited Neha Kakkar. Now that both parties have come forward and spoken openly, then why can’t we? We were there and saw everything. I spoke to Preet Pabla bhai, who was the event organiser. I asked him everything. He’s a very nice and genuine person. That’s when I found out that she didn’t arrive on time and there were multiple delays. He told me that she kept saying things like, ‘I won’t go now; I won’t do this'

Supporting the claim, Bikram Singh Randhawa further elaborated, “The crowd was ready and cheering, expecting her to come on stage. But she showed up at 10 PM — that’s two and a half hours late since the scheduled time was 7:30 PM. So the crowd got upset and angry. In Australia, people value their time. People had made special efforts to come with their families. Some even bought tickets worth AUD 300 — that’s around Rs 15,000 to Rs 16,000."
