Namish Taneja recalls fondest memories of Republic Day: I remember playing Mahatma Gandhi in school

The 73rd Republic Day of India reminds us the re-independence we got as individuals after getting free from the suppression of the britishers in our country. Even today whenever we raise our flag and sing our national anthem, it instills a sense of pride and patriotism in our hearts. 

Talking about the same, actor Namish Taneja who has done some remarkable shows like Swaragini, Aye Mere Humsafar, Vidya etc. shared his fondest memories about the most remarkable day in the history of our country.

Namish says "In my childhood, I used to watch Parade early morning with my entire family. My father used to cook great food and then he used to tell us all the historical freedom stories. In school I used to play different freedom fighters every year, out of these I fondly remember portraying Mahatma Gandhi Ji." 

Furthermore, the actor also shared the list of patriotic songs he likes! He adds, "My favourite patriotic songs are Saare Jahan Se Accha Hindustan Hamara and Dil Diya hai Jaan bhi denge ae Vatan tere liye."

Lastly, The Swaragini actor concluded by saying,

"I would like to say that walk on the path of Nationality and do something which makes our Country feel proud about it."
