While actress Shivani Surve's entry into Sony TV's Ek Deewaana Tha was a pleasant surprise to some, it turned out not so exciting for many others.

Shivani has been paired opposite Namik Paul post the 25 year leap in Ek Deewaana Tha, which has enraged certain fans of Namik (Shiv) and Donal Bisht (Sharanya). Their pairing has also not gone down well with few of Vikram Singh Chauhan and Shivani Surve's fans (from Jaana Na Dil Se Door).

And after a few shippers' comments seemed to have crossed the line, Namik decided to urge fans on social media to 'keep it classy' and not spread hate.

ha ha the politics of fandom. Am glad to see Shivani back on screen and with two of my favs.Donal was terrible and hope she stays out of this project.
