Nagma Mirajkar REACTS to Shubhi Joshi's claims about Awez Darbar: 'We are getting married, Focusing only on..'

Nagma Mirajkar, who recently exited the Bigg Boss 19 house, sat down for an exclusive chat with India Forums to reflect on her time in the show. The actress opened up about the highs and lows of her journey, her emotional moments inside the house, and addressed some of the recent controversies involving fellow contestants Amaal Mallik, Baseer Ali, and Shubhi Joshi.

Congratulations for an amazing stint in Bigg Boss 19 Nagma. How are you feeling?

Mixed feeling hai. Like I wanted to stay more, but unfortunately I’m out. But the days I did spend here were really fun. Made quite a few friends. Got a new kind of exposure. It's a new reality show experience, and I’m really, really grateful for that.

How do you look back at your journey in the show?

It was a learning experience. Health was a bit up and down but if we keep that aside it was a lot of fun. We had a great time, did tasks, had fights, it felt really good. But I’m missing everyone.

Did you expect to get evicted this soon?

No I didn’t expect it. I thought I’d stay a bit more, actually I had thought I’d go till the end. But that I’d be out this soon, I honestly hadn’t thought that at all.

Awez's proposal for you was one of the sweetest moments on the show, what was your reaction when that finally happened and that too on national television?

I mean I did expect that he would propose sometime soon but this soon and the way he said it, ke 'agar main kal nikal gaya,' that really made me emotional. That moment made me feel so emotional and it was such an amazing feeling. I couldn’t believe it and it didn’t really sink in. And andar it did not feel like it is happening on national television. It just felt like a proposal happening in a garden. It was only after coming out that I realised how much people liked it and how much love they gave. So it felt really really good.

Having said that, Baseer has levied some serious allegations of 'cheating' on Awez. Do you agree with the same? Were you aware?

No I don’t agree with him and I don’t even support the idea, that no matter what happens outside, you cannot bring up anything personal inside. First of all I’m against that and the reason I cried was because of how nicely Awez had handled things. He didn’t even abuse anyone and the way he controlled everything, the way he handled it, I felt bad seeing that. Because he didn’t even have much to do with Baseer in that fight. He was the sanchalak and Baseer came and started fighting with him. But just a week before, when Tanya was the sanchalak and Baseer was fighting for Kunika ma’am, Tanya didn’t even count properly and just gave the win to Kunickaa ma’am. Even then he didn’t fight. So that situation, it felt to me like it wasn’t really needed. And I wouldn’t want anyone to make personal remarks on anyone because this is a game. If you say something within the game or about the game, that is fine. That was something I didn’t really like from Baseer’s side.

In fact, even Amaal later mentioned that he has a few 'mutual friends' whom Awez has spoken to. What would you say about that?

I again think that whatever Amaal did, really upset me because just five minutes before that clip, we were outside supporting Amaal because of what happened with Nehal. We were standing by him. We said, "Amaal, we are with you. I’ve seen that you didn’t do anything wrong. I will be there for you." Even Awez said the same. And then just five minutes later, you go and have that gossip session, which, on national television, says a lot more about you than about others.

Actress Shubhi Joshi has also claimed that she shared a 'deep bond' with Awez, your take on the same?

So I don’t really want to answer questions about other people, but I have to say this because there’s a lot of confusion among people about Awez and me. Awez and I are very clear with each other. Before entering Bigg Boss, we got back together and decided that we are going to get married. So right now, we are only focusing on that and nothing else.

As Nagma prepares to move forward after her stint on Bigg Boss 19, her focus remains on the future with Awez, with whom she shares a clear and committed relationship. Despite the drama and misunderstandings that arose during the show, Nagma’s priority is the new chapter ahead, including their plans to get married. Her journey on Bigg Boss may have ended, but her story, both personally and professionally, continues to evolve beyond the house.
