Qubool Hai's Vaquar Shaikh is all set to return to the television screens with Star Plus' show 'Silsila Pyaar Ka'. The actor will be playing a pivotal role in the show, that of Janki's (Shilpa Shirodkar) husband. The actor was last seen in Qubool Hai as Rashid Ahmed Khan.

The current track of the show is focusing on the Saas-Bahu ego tussle between Kajal (Chavvi Pandey) and Janki (Shilpa Shirodkar). And things are sure to spice up with the entry of Janki's husband Pratap (Vaquar Shaikh).

We contacted Vaquar who confirmed the development. Speaking about his character, he revealed, "My character's name is Pratap. And Janki has kept him away from family for many years. And this has driven him to depression, and whenever he sees Janki, he becomes violent."

Elaborating on how he will enter the house, he went on, "Kajal finds out about me and gets me home. She even nurses me back to health and I recover within 10-15 days. That is when I take over as the Man of the House." He continued, "Mine is not a negative or positive or grey character. It is unpredictable. I myself cannot prepare for such a role because of its unpredictable nature."

The actor also added that his entry in the show would change all the dynamics of the characters.
