Musical Masti on Comedy Circus

Music interspersed with comedy. How would that combination work, we wonder? Well to find out, you just have to watch the upcoming episode of Comedy Circus 2 on the 24^th of May.

This week’s theme for Comedy Circus 2 is music and all the contestants put in a huge amount of effort to give a good performance. But before the contestants delivered their regular dose of comedy, Shana Shakeel lived up to his reputation of driving people crazy with his special comments for the sweet hostess, Shruti. Kepping the theme in mind, the contestants were seen in varied attire, attempting to tickle the funny bone of the judges.

Rajesh Kumar dressed as disco singer Bappi Lahiri, imitating him as the judge on practically every reality show judging raw talent and commenting in his Bengali Hindi while his partner Rajiv Nigam was the aspiring contestant. Together, the two ripped various shows like Sujata, K for Kishore, Boogie Woogie etc. Kamya Punjabi and Rajeev Thakur came in as an item girl and a rural girl auditioning for a reality show. After these two came the pair, who no matter how hard they try, always end up in the bottom two, Akashdeep Sehgal and and Pervez Sidiqqui. Akashdeep came as a singer from the famous Saigal family while Pervez was Ustaad Barbaad Mausiqi and the two made a strong attempt to impress the judges but made many bloopers.

Shailesh Lodha and Apara Mehta came teamed up as a married couple whereby Shailesh was the old husband trying to woo his young wife. But the impressive performance of the day was by Krushna and Sudesh as they hosted the famous music awards called 'The Lanatchand Music Awards'. It was a stand up act par excellence as they got a standing ovation from the judges. Shekar Suman even went up to the stage to give them a hug and congratulate them on their excellent performance.
