Investigations into the recent shooting outside Salman Khan's Mumbai residence are progressing, with new developments surfacing. After the arrest of the two shooters, Sagar Pal and Vicky Gupta, the Mumbai Crime Branch has shifted focus to Surat, Gujarat.

The Crime Branch has initiated a search operation in the Tapi River to recover the firearm used in the shooting incident at Salman Khan's Galaxy Apartments on April 14. According to ANI, the Mumbai Crime Branch team is actively scouring the riverbed for the weapon.

The agency stated, "A team from the Mumbai Crime Branch reached Surat to search for the gun that the accused used in firing at Bollywood actor Salman Khan's residence." The accused confessed during interrogation that they disposed of the weapon in the Tapi River after the crime.
