Actress Shruti Anand, who has already won millions of hearts with her acting prowess in various projects, is currently charming the audience with her performance in Sony TV’s newly launched show Mehndi Wala Ghar.
Talking about her character in the show, Shruti says,”I am essaying Mauli, a very sweet and positive girl. ‘Mauli’ as the name depicts, means a thread that is tied to the wrist. Similarly, in this story, Mauli believes in bringing the whole family together. Instead of being today’s era girl, she strongly believes in the concept of a joint family. She is quite possessive about her family and can’t hear anything wrong against them. Apart from this, she has immense love and respect for her country, India.”
Sharing her shooting experience, Shruti says,”It’s been so overwhelming to work with a stellar ensemble cast and being a part of a show which highlights the dynamics of a joint family. I am enjoying a lot playing this character as it is offering me a chance to explore different emotions. Everyone on the set is quite helpful and caring and the shooting experience so far has been enriching and wonderful.”
Feedback plays a huge role in an actor’s life. So, when asked about the kind of reviews she is receiving, the actress says,”Well, the show has just got launched, but I’m thrilled with the positive response from viewers for my current role in the show. It’s truly humbling. The audience are messaging me to appreciate my performance in the show and the way I am portraying Mauli. The positive response I am receiving has boosted my confidence and motivated me to do my best.”
Professionally, Shruti was last seen as the lead (Ruchita) in the TV show Mann Sundar. She made her television debut with Teri Ladli Main.
