Megha Chakraborty continues shooting for 'Imlie' despite high fever; reveals what cheered her up

Megha Chakraborty, who replaced Sumbul Touqeer Khan as Imlie in Star Plus’ popular show ‘Imlie’ has been winning hearts with her stint in the show. The actress has not only recieved a lot of love and appreciation for her performance in the show, but has also taken the show to new heights, thus maintaining it intact in the TRP charts. 

Well however, on some days, being an actor comes with its own set of pros and cons. Especially, if you are the leading lady of an ongoing and a popular daily soap. Stressing more on the con today, a little birdie on the sets of ‘Imlie’ informed us how the leading lady of the show, Megha Chakraborty has been keeping unwell today and has been down with high fever. However, despite being down with fever, the actress has been shooting continuously and was also seen practising for her an upcoming dance number in the show. 

When we reached on sets and got in touch with Megha, she confirmed this piece of news. Further, when we asked her what keeps her motivated on days like these and how has she been managing to Shoot despite being unwell, the actress smiled and said, “Definitely it does get a little difficult when you have to shoot on such days. You do get rest, but not the kind of rest you’d otherwise take if you weren’t shooting. You cannot look sick and down when you have to shoot. And well, today I have to shoot for a dance sequence too, for which I’ve been rehearsing for sometime now. Yes, such days are very tough. But it is your work and in the end you have to do it.” 

Further the actress also revealed what is that one thing that keeps her going on such days. She said, “I talk to my mother and receive all the pampering I need to go about my day. That’s how I get a boost. My mother gives me some advice and showers me with love. You know how, when a kid falls down and all he can think about is his mother, that’s pretty much the same with me too.”
