L.A.C. film director Nitin Kumar Gupta, who is also a medical doctor from the prestigious K.E.M. Hospital, Mumbai, was among the first to get a call for covid-19 vaccination from BMC.

Talking about the same, he revealed, "The procedure was quick and pain-free, as most vaccinations are. I received the Oxford University developed Covishield vaccine, for which there are published safety and efficacy data. There was no side effect, though mild pain and fever are common after any vaccination and nothing to be worried about.''

He further added, ''The second dose will be given after 28 days, only after which the immunity will be ideally developed. The vaccine is shown to build up 70% immunity. This should be good enough to slow down the pandemic when a large percentage of Indians get vaccinated."

Well, that is quite a feat and we hope to hear more about the vaccines soon!
