Kit Harington attached to Jon Snow spin-off from 'Game of Thrones' at HBO

If you thought the many Game of Thrones spin-offs in the plans were a thing of the past, well it certainly seems more real than ever. As House of Dragons is on its way and rolling to be airing on HBO soon, another mega spin-off is said to be in development that involved none other than Jon Snow.

That's right. This obviously also means that Kit Harington will be set to reprise his role as the loved Snow/Stark/Targareyen in a show, which would take place after the events of Game of Thrones. opening up what many thought was an iron-clad ending to wildly popular series. HBO’s upcoming spinoff House of the Dragon, which premieres on Aug. 21, is set 200 years before the original series.

In the final season of Game of Thrones, Snow realized his true identity and that he could be an heir to the Iron Throne. The series concluded with his exile from Westeros as he rides into the Haunted Forest with Ghost and the Wildlings to begin a new life.

Since the potential Jon Snow sequel series would take place after the final season of Game of Thrones, it’s possible that familiar characters — such as his siblings Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) and Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) — could show their faces.

HBO declined to comment on the matter.
