Actress Katrina Kaif may not have had a successful film career but she still remains one of the vouched after actress in Bollywood. With a career span of almost 15 years, Katrina has made her own mark in this industry and enjoys a massive fan following.
It was recently when reports of Katrina Kaif being extra conscious about the films she signs were doing rounds in the industry. With an interesting line-up of films - Thugs of Hindostan, Zero, and a Dance film, Kaif is truly being very selective.
Now, in a report by Mid-Day, it reveals that Kat was offered a romantic-comedy film against Aditya Roy Kapur which she has rejected as apparently, she is not keen on working with this young actor again.
A source had revealed to Mid-Day, "Although they are good friends, Katrina doesn't want her career graph to see a low again. Ever since the success of 'Tiger Zinda Hai', she has been selective about the projects she takes on. Since Aditya doesn't have a great box-office record, she doesn't want to work with him".
Aditya and Katrina had previously shared screen space in Fitoor (2016) which was a big fail at the box office. Nor did the film's plot or their chemistry was appreciated by the audience. This possibly could be a reason for Katrina not signing this film with Aditya Roy Kapur.
As for now, Kaif is busy prepping up for Thugs of Hindostan which also stars Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, and Fatima Sana Shaikh. This period drama film is slated to release on the eve of Diwali i.e 7th November 2018.
Apart from this, Kaif will also be seen in Zero opposite Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma. This much-awaited film is slated to hit the theatres on yet another festival i.e Christmas. Zero will release on 21st December 2018.
