Karishma Sharma gets discharged from hospital post train accident; See latest update

Karishma Sharma, who sustained a serious injury after jumping from a local train, was discharged from Mumbai's Kokilaben Hospital on Saturday. The actress took to social media to share the news, penning a lengthy note of gratitude to her supporters and the medical staff. Along with the heartfelt message, Karishma shared a photo from her hospital room, visibly happy to be leaving.

While sharing the picture, Karishma wrote, "Hey guys, I just wanted to share that I've finally been discharged from the hospital. The doctor told me that, thankfully, the injury isn't too deep, but I will still feel some pain for a while as I recover."

"It's been a really tough and scary experience, but I feel so blessed to have all of your love, prayers, and support. Honestly, that's what gave me the strength to get through this. And not to forget my mom, who took the very next flight and gave me so much strength. Thank you so much for being there for me — it truly means the world," she further added.

Karishma’s accident details

Earlier, Karishma Sharma took to her Instagram stories and wrote a long note detailing the accident. She wrote, "Yesterday, while heading for a shoot at Churchgate, I decided to take the train dressed in a sari. As I boarded, the train started picking up speed, and I noticed my friends couldn't catch it. Out of fear, I jumped off — and unfortunately fell on my back, hitting my head," the actress further added.

Karishma's friend also shared a picture of her from the hospital, writing, "Can't believe this happened... my friend fell from the train, and she doesn't remember anything. We found her on the floor and rushed her here. Doctors re still figuring things out — please keep her in your prayers. Get well soon, babe."
