Kanguva Bookings: Suriya, Bobby Deol period action flick off to an excellent start

Kanguva is one of the biggest Indian movies of November 2024. It is coming after Amaran, which is already breaking box office records. Suriya, Bobby Deol and Disha Patani make the star cast of the Siva film. Today, a promotional event is being held at IMAX in Wadala. Suriya is already there at the venue. There was a lot of shifting around the final release date of Kanguva. Suriya fans began to call out the makers for not being able to decide on a right time, and other delays. Kanguva is a story of time travel with a sci-fi angle. 

It seems there is genuine hype around Kanguva. The movie’s advances have crossed Rs one crore in Kerala in hours. It is the fourth-highest opening for a Tamil movie in Kerala. As we know, the Malayalam film industry has had a great year with a number of hits. It has crossed the Rs two crore mark in advances in Tamil Nadu. These are very encouraging signs for the Suriya film. The star needs a solid comeback and Kanguva seems to be having the elements of a blockbuster. Now, 50 per cent of all the theatres are already given to Amaran. Many fans felt it was unfair while others said it is okay as the film is getting a good response. 

Box office prediction of Kanguva

Kanguva is expected to cross the Rs 10 crore mark in advance sales by tonight. It is a very good number. It seems the response in the Hindi belt is better than Vettaiyaan. Suriya fans feel he could have easily clashed with the Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan social drama. Some are predicting a Rs 80 crore plus global worldwide collection for Kanguva. The overseas market is slowly picking up pace. It seems it is about a medical discovery that goes wrong. To set things right, Suriya’s character travels back in time.
