Kangana Ranaut is all praises for Mrunal Thakur: Here's why

Kangana Ranaut recently watched Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur’s period film Sita Ramam. Kangana took to her social media account and showered praises for the film. She praised the film's "amazing storyline and direction" in a string of Instagram stories. 

She specifically acknowledged Mrunal, claiming that "no other actress could have played" Princess Noor Jahan, also known as Sita Mahalakshmi, in the same way, that she did.

Hanu Raghavapudi's Telugu romantic drama starred Dulquer as Lieutenant Ram, an Indian army officer stationed at the Kashmir border who receives secret love letters from Mrunal's Sita Mahalakshmi.  In her review of the film, Kangana Ranaut wrote, 

“Finally got time to see Sita Ramam… and I must say what a spectacular experience… and epic love story… extraordinary screenplay and direction… congratulations to Hanu Raghavapudi (director), all departments work wonderfully (in the film).”

She penned an adorable note for Mrunal addressing her a Queen, 

"All actors did amazingly well but what stood out the most for me..@mrunalthakur perfromance, restrained emotions and rare dignity in her demeanour no other actress could have portrayed..what a terrific casting..truly a Queen Zindabad Thakur saab, here begings your reign..#sitaraman"

Well, Mrunal was touched by the kind words and thanked Kangana. She took to her Instagram story and wrote, "Coming this from the Queen herself means the world to me! Thankyou"

Talking about her work front, Thakur will appear opposite Abhimanyu Dassani and Paresh Rawal in the multi-starrer comedy Aankh Micholi. 

Following this, she will portray the female lead opposite Ishaan Khatter in the war action film Pippa. She will also star opposite Aditya Roy Kapur in the Hindi remake of the 2019 Tamil film Thadam, where she will be seen playing a police officer. She also completed Maddock Films Pooja Meri Jaan alongside Huma Qureshi.

While Kangana is busy shooting her upcoming political drama Emergency based on the life of Indira Gandhi.
