Kangana Ranaut addresses the lowest phase of her life: "I had to leave the country because of Bollywood mafia"

Kangana Ranaut has never shied away from speaking her mind. Facing intense criticism and feeling disillusioned with the Bollywood system, Kangana made the difficult decision to leave India. She relocated to the USA, where she bought a house in Calabasas, hired an agent, and even shot a short film. Kangana attributed this move to what she believes is a flawed system in the Indian film industry, which she claims drives away talented individuals.

However, everything changed in 2014 with the release of Queen. The film's success marked a major turning point in Kangana's career, not only transforming her fortunes but also signaling a shift in audience preferences towards more realistic, homegrown stories. This film solidified her status as a leading actress in Bollywood and proved her ability to carry a film on her shoulders.

Her journey began in 2006 with her debut in Gangster, directed by Anurag Basu, a role that won her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. She continued to impress with intense roles in films like Woh Lamhe, Life in a Metro, and Fashion.
