'Joker: Folie a Deux': Lady Gaga wraps up filming; makers drop mindblowing picture

Lady Gaga, a pop artist and performer, had been occupied in New York City filming for Joker 2. In the film, the pop star will be observed playing the role of Harley Quinn. Gaga posted a photo from the final day of the shoot along with an announcement on her social media announcing the film's wrap-up.  Sharing the picture, Lady Gaga wrote, "That's a wrap âä️‍ðŸ" å 🎬🃏 X, Harleen."

Probably for the first time, Gaga has acknowledged that she would play the acclaimed Harleen in the movie. She appeared in a viral video and BTS pictures taken on the sets. Recently, a video of her from the shoot that showed her kissing a girl outside the courtroom was leaked online.

The fans are going gaga about her look, and we can't wait to see what magic they will work on screen as a team. Internet users were ecstatic as they flooded Twitter with appreciation notes for the image. Following Joker's enormous success, there was a lot of speculation that a sequel was in the works. Joker 2, starring Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn and Joaquin Phoenix as Arthur Fleck nicknamed the Clown Prince of Crime, has completed its main shooting five years after the release of the first movie.

Although the plot is still kept under wraps, it has been speculated that the movie will be a musical. While Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Jacob Lofland, and Harry Lawtey have been cast in unnamed roles, Zazie Beets will return to the character of Sophie Dumond.

There are rumours that "Joker 2" will feature Harvey Dent aka Two-Face, another renowned Batman villain. The movie is expected to be released on October 4, 2024, in theatres.
