Jacqueline Fernandez's mother Kim passes away after a heart stroke

Actress Jacqueline Fernandez’s mother Kim has passed away. She died in the ICU of Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital where she was admitted after a heart stroke. The actress had dropped all her professional commitments to care for her mother who battled for her life. Jacqueline Fernandez skipped her performance at the IPL 2025 to be with her. The actress has been slowly making a return to Bollywood after the Sukesh Chandrasekhar incident. Jacqueline Fernandez’s mom Kim was of Malaysian and Canadian descent. She has often spoken about her mom, and how she was a driving force in her life. Jacqueline Fernandez’s father Elroy is a Sri Lankan.

Happier memories with her mom

Jacqueline Fernandez, however, stayed resilient as she made a comeback with some good music videos and Sonu Sood’s movie Fateh. Her mother, Kim, was a former air hostess. The diva inherited her mom’s good looks especially her eyes and hair. We have seen her mother on the actress’ Instagram feed. Kim would travel often with her daughter on shoots caring for the actress who is also very family-oriented. She has an elder brother and two sisters.

She grew up in Bahrain where her father worked as a businessman. He was also in the organization of music concerts. This is why she developed a huge love for songs and dance. Jacqueline Fernandez will be seen in the multi-starrer Welcome To The Jungle that has Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Shreyas Talpade, Disha Patani and others. She is also looking forward to Kick 2 where she will reunite with Salman Khan.
