Itti Si Khushi actor Rajat Verma, who has been part of shows like Beyhadh 2, Dahej Daasi, Ishq Par Zor Nahi, and Jamuniya recently opened up about his take on reality shows, instant stardom, and the kind of formats that excite him. Speaking candidly, he shared his honest views on Bigg Boss, Rise Fall, and the ever-growing reality show culture.
When asked if he follows Bigg Boss or Rise Fall, Rajat admits, “To be honest, I’m not actively following either of the shows this season. I do watch short clips and highlights on social media, but I don’t get much time to watch full episodes.” He adds that he still finds Bigg Boss fascinating because it brings out real human emotions. “It’s like a social experiment for me. You see how people handle pressure, ego, and relationships in a confined space — that’s very interesting from a psychological point of view,” he explains.
On whether he would ever participate in such shows, Rajat says, “I believe every project teaches you something. If I connect with the concept, I would definitely think about it. Bigg Boss can be mentally and emotionally challenging, but it’s also a great learning experience. I’m a private person, so living on camera 24x7 would be tough, but maybe someday I’ll be ready for that kind of challenge.”

Sharing his opinion on instant fame from reality shows, he reflects thoughtfully, “Reality shows give you quick stardom, but that attention doesn’t last if you don’t back it up with good work. People remember your performances, not just your popularity. I think real success comes from consistency, focus, and good choices.”
Talking about the type of show he’d love to do, Rajat reveals, “I would like to be part of an adventure-based or travel reality show. Something that pushes me out of my comfort zone and lets me show my real personality. I love exploring and trying new things.”
He concludes, “Yes, somewhere the charm of reality shows has reduced because too many are happening at the same time. But if a show brings honesty and originality, it can still win hearts.”
