‘It could have been us’: Rahul Vaidya shares UNSEEN picture with wife Disha Parmar from terror attack spot

Singer and Bigg Boss 14 contestant Rahul Vaidya strongly reacted to the attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, April 22, which left at least 26 civilians dead and several others injured. On Wednesday, he took to social media to express his anger over the terrorist act and shared a throwback photo with his wife, Disha Parmar, from their recent trip to Kashmir — a photo taken at the very same spot where the terrorists opened fire.

Rahul wrote, "This is the same place where the tourists were shot, It could've been us! Prayers for the killed."

Further, the singer added, "Pakad pakad ke goli maaro, No humanity for the killers of Humanity!"

On April 22, 2025, armed terrorists opened fire on a convoy of tourist vehicles in Pahalgam, a hill-station in Jammu & Kashmir. The attack took place near the Aru Valley area, a popular spot for visitors. According to official reports, At least 26 civilians were killed and around 20 others injured. The Resistance Front—a shadow group of the banned Lashkar-e-Taiba—claimed responsibility. Gunmen ambushed the convoy from close range, targeting buses and cars carrying families and sightseers.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi swiftly condemned the Pahalgam terror attack in a post on X (formerly Twitter), writing: “I strongly condemn the terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. I pray that the injured recover at the earliest. All possible assistance is being provided to those affected. Those behind this heinous act will be brought to justice…they will not be spared! Their evil agenda will never succeed. Our resolve to fight terrorism is unshakable and it will get even stronger.”
