Ishq Mein Ghayal, Junooniyat & Maitree; three love triangles to arrive on TV to entertain the viewers

Love triangles are the tried and tested formula to make any bland story of TV show, more interesting. In any regular show, to spice up the drama, often a new entry is made as a third wheel in the love story which indirectly escalate the audiences’ curiosity which results in improved TRPs.
Well, 2023 will witness three big scale projects based on the concept of love triangles. Two heroes, one heroine or two heroine and one hero combination can not go wrong. Colors’ is set to bring two new shows with the same formula. Have a look below:
Colors’ announced Beyond Dreams Pvt LTD’s show ‘Ishq Mey Ghayal’ with an impressing ensemble cast. Reem Sheikh, Gashmeer Mahajani and Karan Kundra are roped in to play the lead characters. Must say, the cast is apt both popularity and talent wise. The promo of the show has been released and has gotten a lot of love from the viewers. The show is loosely inspired by the Vampire Diaries. The story of the show revolves around Isha and Armaan’s (Reem and Gashmeer) love story while Veer (Karan) enters to unveil many mysteries.
Junooniyat:
The highpoint of this show is that two of the popular Bigg Boss 16’s evicted contestants have been cast together. Ankit Gupta plays the character of Jahaan in the show while Gautam Vig will essay the character of Jordan. The show is helmed by Sargun Mehta and Ravie Dubey’s production house Dreamiyata Pvt Ltd. The show will also feature actress Neha Rana (Elahi) as the first-timer in the lead role. The show has music as its backdrop padded with passion to be successful as the main emotion. The promos of the show look quite promising and it is undoubtedly one of the most awaited shows.
Set against the backdrop of Prayagraj, the show focuses on the exciting yet dramatic journey of Maitree (Shrenu Parikh) and her soul sister, Nandini (Bhaweeka Chaudhary). The two best friends have been inseparable since their childhood, so much so that their mothers also question them as to what will they do when either of them gets married? While they are sure that nothing can break their friendship and that they will remain best friends even after marriage, it seems that life has its own plan for them. The show stars Namish Taneja as Ashish, who can change the dynamics between Maitree and Nandini.
