Imlie Actress Hetal Yadav recalls how she was roped in for Jwala's character in TMKOC

Actress Hetal Yadav, who's currently seen as Shivani Rana in Imlie has played various characters in shows on television for the past 25 years. The actress who is best remembered as Jwala in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. We went down the memory lane and asked the actress about one of the most remarkable characters she did in her career so far.

Recalling the audition process and how she was roped in for the character, Hetal asserted "Jwala! I love this name it suits me a lot. It goes so much with my personality. Now this is also an interesting story. I had auditioned for the other Character who is a Social worker and helps Gulabo to fight for Justice. But When the Director of the Show Malav Rajda asked me to give an audition for the character of a Social Worker (Jyoti) he thought for a while and asked his assistant to give me Jwala's script. I was then asked by him to audition for that as well. Looking at both my live auditions he said that Hetal will Play Jwala. Initially that track of Gulabo and Jethalal was only for a week or 10 days but it was liked so much by the audience that it went on for a month"

We are sure, Hetal's persona and acting nuances on screen made it one of the most fondly remembered characters of the show. Despite the track commencing a decade back, She is still remembered as Jwala from TMKOC.
