Ibrahim and Sara Ali Khan’s Rakhi moments melt hearts, but Jeh and Taimur are missing from the fun

Ibrahim Ali Khan marked Raksha Bandhan by sharing heartfelt moments with his sister Sara Ali Khan on Instagram. Posting a series of pictures, Ibrahim showed off the Rakhi tied by Sara and penned a sincere message promising to always support and protect her.

Dressed in a blue kurta, Ibrahim appeared close to Sara, who wore a yellow kurti. One photo captures Sara holding Ibrahim as their pets look on, while another shows Ibrahim holding her close, gently kissing her forehead. Alongside the images, he wrote, “Dear sister @saraalikhan95, I promise in this lifetime to always take care of you, always stand by you, always support you. I promise to give you love, strength and everything I can, even if I can’t. Forever and ever your little bhai Jaan. Love you the most 🌍, happy Rakhi. #strongertogether.”

Sara responded warmly on her Instagram stories, calling him “the best brother in the world 🌍” and added, “You are my strength already in more ways than you know 💪.”

Notably missing from this year’s Raksha Bandhan celebrations were their half-siblings Taimur and Jeh, who are currently in London with their parents, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor. Kareena shared a lighthearted Instagram story showing two superhero-themed Rakhis and wished everyone a “Happy Rakshabandhan from my two superheroes.”

Ibrahim has been making strides in his acting career this year. He debuted as a lead actor in the Netflix romantic comedy Nadaaniyan alongside Khushi Kapoor, though the film received mixed reviews. More recently, he appeared in the Jio Hotstar film Sarzameen with Prithviraj Sukumaran and Kajol, which also did not fare well critically. Looking ahead, Ibrahim is set to star in the upcoming film Diler.

Sara, on the other hand, had notable releases this year with Sky Force and Metro…In Dino, continuing to build her presence in the industry. While Taimur and Jeh’s absence was felt, the sibling bond between Ibrahim and Sara was clear and heartfelt this Raksha Bandhan, with both publicly expressing their affection and support for each other.
