Telly actor Aasiya Qazi who has played lead roles in shows like Balika Vadhu, Bandini, Hitler Didi etc., is back on television with a different role altogether, wherein she will play a grey character.

When asked the actress about her break of one and a halfyear from television she said, "I wouldn't say that on television, you can be too choosy about your roles that you are going to play. That would be wrong to say, but yes, somewhereI did not want to do somethingfor the sake of just doing it. But at the same time, I did not want to be too choosy. Just doing the lead or the parallel lead was not my choice. I wanted to do something that as an actor I would enjoy."

The atress is returning on TV with Mere Papa Hero Hiralaal in which she will be playing a grey character.

Apart from this, she is also a part of the Box Cricket League.
