I am not quitting the show - Vrushika Mehta

Ever since the news about Ravish Desai's decision to quit Zee TV's popular show Satrangi Sasural has been started doing rounds in the media, the speculations about the female protagonist Vrushika Mehta quitting the show has also begun.

It has been reported in media that Vrushika Mehta is also quitting the show as she is not happy with the current storyline of the show.

However, when we buzzed Vrushika to know more about it, she had different things to say. She told us, "Honestly I have no clue how this all started. Some of my fans tagged me in an article and that's how I came to know about all this. I have not given any interview and as of now there are no plans of quitting the show. Satrangi Sasural has given me a chance to work with amazing actors like Farida (Farida Jalal) Mam and I would always be grateful to the show. I have signed the contract and I respect it."

When asked if the reports of her not happy with the story is true or not, Vrushika said, "I am an actor and my job is to perform and I give my 100% to it. I can understand people have a lot to say about the story, but this is not in my hands. I will continue to give my best to my character Kaira".

In the end, Vrushika also shared a message for her fans, "You all have been there for me every time and supported me. I am trying my best to entertain you. Thank you for all the support and love."
