Here's what Producer Asit Modi had to say about the proposed BAN on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah!

And the seasoned producer had a point.

The week started on a very shocking note with news of how the Sikh community had demanded a ban on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.

In the recently telecast episodes, actor Gurucharan Singh aka Sodhi portrayed the role of Sikh Guru Gobind Singh Ji Khalsa. But a misunderstanding ensued due to which the Sikh community rose up in arms and demanded a ban on the show.

However, actress Munmun Dutta released an official statement that read, "People who raised objections about the scene, have clearly not seen it. The misunderstanding occurred during the telecast apparently. When his sequence started, the scroll introducing his character stated 'Sodhi as Guru Gobindji Ka Khalsa ' and apparently 'Ka Khalsa' got hidden behind the 'Disclaimer ' scroll run by the channel and that's when some miscreant clicked a picture and started circulating it on social media and claimed otherwise which gave rise to this controversy."

When we got in touch with the producer Asit Modi, he said, "It is a misunderstanding that has been made viral unnecessarily. We based our character on Guru Gobind Singh Ji Khalsa and not on Guru Gobind Singhji himself. Everything is fine now."

This needs to be ban asap
In past they have shown Ganesha
in Shri Harmandir Sahib .
This show has turmed into another dustbin drama
and taarak mehta blind viewers below are spreading venom.

If you guys dont wanna watch a show then dont watch it!
What's the point in wanting to stop the series that is still better than the poisonous love stories people fawn over these days when you can just change the channel and find something else to watch.

I'm not gonna say tarak mehta ka ulta chasma is a best show on television. But still it is better than those endless piece of saas-bahu crap,which many of us watch with so much hype. Not as good as it was started a way back then but TMKOC and CID are still treat to watch, i dont watch these show on daily basis but its felt gud when i watch.

fabulous show,their are many jealous envied creature's,who wanna close it,why must this show end it has no multiple affairs,musical chair and mockery of love and siblings bond those disgusting must end , jealous haters ur shows are down no one even watches,yet tarak from since many years is still strong
