Here's what Gaurav Khanna reveals about Dipika Kakkar Ibrahim

Gaurav Khanna has built a strong name for himself in the Indian television industry. From daily soaps to reality shows, his talent and charm have won over many fans. Most recently, Gaurav took part in the first season of Celebrity MasterChef and emerged as the winner. One of the contestants alongside him was popular TV actress Dipika Kakar Ibrahim.

Dipika had made a much-awaited return to television through this cooking show. Her presence quickly made her a favorite among viewers. Sadly, her journey was cut short due to a health issue. In one of her vlogs, Dipika shared that she started feeling intense shoulder pain while shooting for a festive special episode. The crew immediately took her to the hospital, where doctors found swollen lymph nodes causing the discomfort.

Although the treatment helped ease the pain temporarily, it came back once the medication stopped. Dipika managed to complete filming the episode that featured Hina Khan and Rocky Jaiswal, but the pain was too much to handle. She decided to step away from the show, saying she didn't want to continue if she couldn't give her full effort.

In a recent interview, Gaurav Khanna was asked about Dipika's exit. He said, "I am not in touch with her. She left the show because she wasn't well. She came twice but couldn't manage the pain. I even helped her carry things from the pantry because they were too heavy for her."

When asked if Dipika could have been tough competition had she stayed, Gaurav humbly replied, "It's not like that. Everyone was good. All contestants were equally strong."

Before winning Celebrity MasterChef, Gaurav was widely loved for his role as Anuj Kapadia in Anupamaa.

Celebrity MasterChef has become a hit in its very first season. Hosted by Farah Khan and judged by renowned chefs Ranveer Brar and Vikas Khanna, the show has now entered its finale week. The top five finalists are Gaurav Khanna, Faisal Shaikh, Nikki Tamboli, Tejasswi Prakash, and Rajiv Adatia.
