And we are as shocked as you are!

Sony TV show, Haasil
which was already a finite
series will soon be going off-air as we hear that the makers and channel are now planning to pull the plug off the show.
The makers are now working on giving the show a logical conclusion and will end the show by mid-February. The show which started in October is all set to go off-air within 4 months. It indeed does seem to be too soon for the show to go off-air, and we did not see that coming.
We contacted Siddharth Malhotra, the producer of the show, who told us, "Yes, Haasil is going off-air, the date is not yet decided as we are planning to give the show a proper ending."
Well, it's really shocking and a disheartening news for all the fans of Haasil. We wish for the makers to come with something new and hope that happens soon.

Looking at Haasil promo, I thought the show would be offering great but no the show had nothing great, just the old story being repeated. Even if the show had proved to be different and had not got any trps, we would have blamed it on our indian audience which doesn't want any change from its daily soaps. But Haasil failure is not because of Indian audience not able to grasp a different story but because the show failed deliver anything special. Looking at the show, the first time I remembered my personal favourite Cheese in the trap. Ranveer could have been Jung, Aachal as Seoul and Kabir as Inho. It would have been perfect but alas it couldn't happen.

This was expected!!! They didn't let it remain a thriller and turned into another same wine in new bottle!!!! I hope they shift Ek Deewana Tha to its slot!!!

I knew this show was supposed to be about 130 episodes but I guess it will be around 70 or 80 now. The issue was that the thriller aspect was not strong enough. Anchal who was a lawyer was shown gullible. The story took a nose dive then. I liked Vatsal-Nikita in some scenes. They did good. Zayad was good too. But the pyscho brother thing was predictable. They could have explored the rape/murder case more, Anchal's dad and their past etc. But this was more about some crazed man trying to force himself on a woman who's in love with his brother. I am not surprised by this, but disappointed nonetheless!

Finally!! Could not see where this show was going. Did not like Vatsal and Nikita pairing, did not have any chemistry. Hated Zayed being the negative lead. So so glad it is going off air.

Sad how Indian TV can never progress. When we have blind Sanaya followers who wanted to see some stupid overused story like Kavya Ki Prathna it just shows a lot.

fans had more exceptions from this, but the CVs couldn't match up to the expectations, and yes, pulling the plug was expected ! Next in line is surely EDT,>.<

Thank god...honestly I'm more surprised it lasted this long with such awful script/dialogue and wasted potential.

Expected a lot from alchamy production but story was same which have been told so many times , so it had to be flopped, Haasil is one big budget flop of Sony, Sony scrapped Sanaya irani show kavya ki prathna which could change Sony channel, s fortunes and story of 2 sisters was so heart touching and brought up this kind of thriller love story Haasil which had nothing new to offer to audiences, very happy this crap Haasil flopped and going off air

I'm not that surprised. I was expecting this news a long time back. I started this show because I was hoping we would get something new in the thriller genre. Actual grey-shaded characters and realistic plot line and all, but I guess I expected too much. It's the same old wine served in a new bottle.
