Gunshots fired at Salman Khan's residence in Mumbai today, days after receiving life threats

Reports emerged of gunfire ringing through the air, sending waves of concern rippling through the neighborhood. Initial accounts suggest that two individuals mounted on a motorcycle fired several shots, triggering a swift response from law enforcement authorities.

This unsettling event comes amidst a backdrop of simmering tensions and security concerns surrounding Salman Khan. The actor, known for his larger-than-life persona on screen, has found himself entangled in a web of threats and intimidation in recent times. Last year, a chilling death threat from the Canada-based fugitive gangster Goldy Brar cast a shadow over Khan's sense of safety. The ominous declaration placed Salman squarely on the hit list of Brar's notorious gang, sending shockwaves through the entertainment industry.

In response to mounting security risks, Salman Khan has fortified his personal safety with an elaborate entourage and round-the-clock protection. Earlier this year, the Mumbai Police took legal action by filing an FIR against Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldy Brar, and another individual after an email threatening Salman Khan was received at his Mumbai residence. According to sources within the police department, the incident, which took place around 4:55 am, involved the firing of three rounds. The forensic team is expected to promptly arrive at the location to collect crucial evidence. Reports suggest that the Mumbai Police Crime Branch will assume control of the case as investigations continue to identify those responsible for the alarming incident.
