Gulki Joshi was the first one to know about my exit from ‘Maddam Sir’: Bhavika Sharma

On fans demand, India Forums is here with a short interview with the beautiful Bhavika Sharma who was last seen in Sony SAB show ‘Maddam Sir’. Bhavika took the bold decision of quitting the show mid-way after being a part of the same for around three years. Fans loved Bhavika’s stint in the show and the actress received a huge amount of love and appreciation from the viewers.

India Forums got in touch with Bhavika Sharma and asked her if the decision of exiting the show was difficult. She said, “Well, not really! I feel, I have really given my all to the show but there was no character growth and that’s what made me take the decision”.

When asked about the cast members reaction to the news, she said, “When I got the confirmation from the producers, I was a little teary and called Gulki and informed her. Later, I called everyone to my and informed them about the news. While they were upset for a while, they knew that I’ve taken the decision for my own good and they supported me in the same. I’m also glad that my fans are quite considerate and understanding. While they stated that they’ll miss me, they respect my decision and are waiting for me to take up another project soon”.

We asked Bhavika if she’ll like to be a part of a multi-starrer show like ‘Maddam Sir’ in the future as people often face the issue less screen-space. To this, she said, “Well with ‘Maddam Sir’ I never had a problem with the screen-space as all of us were there in almost all scenes. As far as taking multi-starrer shows in future is concerned, it all depends on the script and my character. If things fall in place, I would take up such shows”.
