Gauahar Khan’s fashion-forward baby shower look in golden gown sets fresh maternity style

Gauahar Khan recently hosted a baby shower with her husband, Zaid Darbar, marking a special moment ahead of their second child. The intimate gathering became a talking point online, with fans and fashion pages sharing glimpses of the event.

The focus, however, was on Gauahar’s choice of attire. She wore a flowing golden gown that balanced elegance with comfort, perfect for a maternity celebration. She kept her hair open in soft waves and opted for minimal makeup, accented with a subtle pink tint on her cheeks and bold red lipstick. Her look was completed with gold jewellery, including a detailed necklace and a bangle, which added understated sophistication without overpowering the outfit.

Zaid Darbar complemented her style with a simple yet contemporary ensemble, pairing white pants with a loose shirt featuring a black and red abstract design. The couple’s coordinated yet effortless looks were captured in behind-the-scenes videos shared by Gauahar on social media, including clips of them cutting a two-tier cake decorated with floral designs. Gauahar and Zaid married in 2020, and welcomed their first child, Zehaan, in May 2023. Their second pregnancy was announced via Instagram earlier this year, where Gauahar wrote, “Bismillah!! Need your prayers and love, make the world dance by spreading love #GazaBaby2 #allahummabaarikfiihi.”

Gauahar Khan, speaking about her second pregnancy, said that she could not say she was more relaxed this time, as it was more challenging. She added that every pregnancy felt different, and experiences varied from one woman to another. Gauahar also noted that many myths surrounded pregnancy, but the whole experience was very personal and unique, and one could not assume that what happened in one pregnancy would happen the same way in another.

On the work front, Gauahar’s show Fauji 2 recently completed 100 episodes on DD National, while she also appeared in Lovely Lolla on the Dreamiyata Dramaa YouTube channel.
