Garvita Sadhwani CONFIRMS EXIT from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: 'Wont be a part of the show BUT..'

Garvita Sadhwani, who essayed the character of Ruhi in Star Plus' Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has now called it quits from the show as the show has been headed for a 6 year leap. Various speculations surrounding the actress' character staying back or ending in the show had been doing rounds on the internet, however, in an exclusive chat with India Forums, Garvita has now confirmed her exit from the show.

Speaking to us about her exit, the actress says, ''Yes, I am no longer going to be a part of the show as the story moves ahead. Ruhi will not be present on your screens for at least the next few months now. As of now, it will be a temporary exit and there are possibilities of my return to the show in a few months, however, everything depends on the story, so let’s see what happens.”

''I am happy that the viewers will get to witness a totally new story and I'd like to wish everyone the best as the show moves forward,'' Garvita further tells us.

Looking back at her journey in the show, the actress calls Ruhi a 'pivotal role,' in her journey and says, ''It’s been a beautiful journey and I wouldn't have it any other way. Ruhi is an extremely special character for me and her growth has been remarkable.''

We asked the actress if in the gap of these few months she would take up a new show if at all it is offered to her and the actress says, ''Well, too soon to comment on that as of now. Depends on what happens after a few months, lets see.''
