Actor Fardeen Khan, who recently returned to the screen with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s "Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar," knows this all too well after the passing of his father, the legendary Feroz Khan.
In an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, Fardeen opened up about the enduring.lecting on his relationship with Feroz Khan, Fardeen shared how much he misses his late father. When asked if he felt the loss deeply, he responded, “Nothing can fill the vacuum of a parent. So of course!” He continued, “I come from him, you feel a part of him. Of course, I miss him.”
Fardeen also reminisced about his father's demeanor, revealing that Feroz Khan wasn't particularly expressive.
The actor recalled with a laugh,
“No, not at all.” He elaborated, “He would tell everyone else about how much he loved me, but to me... no. Not at all! Maybe in later years, he became expressive. He was very very to himself. He was protective of his tribe but not very expressive at all. My mother more than him made up for it. So I have a beautiful relationship with her.”
Having experienced this, Fardeen has consciously chosen to be very open and expressive with his own children. He cherishes the beautiful bond he shares with his kids, ensuring they always feel his love and support.
Fardeen Khan has recently amazed everyone with his remarkable physical transformation. His portrayal of a nawab in "Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar" has been well-received, marking a stunning comeback.
