It's not a happy time for Vashu Bhagnani who is apparently struggling to find his leading lady.
The producer is on the hunt for an actress to star opposite son, Jackky, in Rajkumar Santoshi's upcoming directorial venture. It is rumoured that approximately four to five A-List actresses have unapologetically declined the offer, leading to an unhappy Vashu Bhagnani launching a hunt across India to zero in on a fresh face.
The father-son duo have previously worked together in the forgettable 2009 flick, Kal Kisne Dekha, followed by F.A.L.T.U. Considering the success of the latter, Bhagnani Sr. finds it insulting that he has had to go door-to-door in bid to find an actress willing to co-star against his son. Further tales tell that despite rumours of Katrina Kaif being offered a whopping Rs. 20 crores to star in the film, the producer insists his money is better spent auditioning aspiring actresses.
Vashu also has three future projects lined up for his son including a project with Milap Javeri and Remo D'Souza's F.A.L.T.U. sequel.
BC wishes luck to Vashu for his leading lady hunt!
