Actor Sachin Sharma, who plays the role of Akhil in Prateek Sharma and Parth Shah’s Suman Indori, loved being part of the project. The actor adds that the atmosphere on the set is very warm and endearing.

“I absolutely love being a part of Suman Indori. The energy on set is incredible, and the storylines are so engaging. The entire team feels like family, and every day is a new experience. It's such a joy to work on a show that resonates with so many people,” he says.

He adds, “I'm absolutely thrilled with how Akhil's character has evolved. As an actor, it's a dream to portray such a layered role. Akhil’s journey has given me so many opportunities to perform different emotions, from his struggles to his redemption. It’s been both challenging and rewarding.”

The show is all set for a small leap. Talking about the same, he says, “I’m really excited about the leap! There’s going to be so much drama and new twists, which will make the story even more interesting. For me, it’s a chance to explore Akhil’s character further and show different shades of his personality. I’m looking forward to seeing how the audience reacts!”

He adds, “There’s been a big transformation for Akhil. He’s completely positive now, and his look reflects that. Earlier, Akhil's style was a bit funky and edgy, but now it's more formal and understated – simple shirts and trousers that reflect his inner change. The shift in his personality is all thanks to Suman, who saw the good in him when no one else did. There’s this scene where Akhil is drunk and at his lowest, and Suman helps him when no one else does. That moment was the turning point for Akhil’s redemption and the start of a positive bond between them.”

Suman Indori has managed to retain a loyal fan base, says the actor, adding, “The love and support from our audience have been amazing! I think what works is the authenticity of the show – the emotions, the relationships, and the relatability of the characters. Everyone sees a piece of themselves in the story, and that connection is what keeps them hooked.”

Talking about how he keeps his performance up, he says, “I believe in learning something new every day. Working with such talented and experienced co-actors on this show inspires me a lot.
