Ek Villain Returns to hit theatres on Eid 2022

With the permission to open theaters in Maharashtra, the release dates of films are being announced. Now the release date of Mohit Suri directorial Ek Villain Returns has been fixed.

The film will be released in theaters on Eid next year.

Usually the festival of Eid is associated with Salman Khan, but this time it's the villain to release on Eid.

Ek Villain Returns stars Arjun Kapoor, John Abraham, Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria in lead roles.

The prequel Ek Villain was released in 2014. Siddharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor were in the lead roles in this film, while Riteish Deshmukh played the negative role for the first time and his character was very popular.

The thriller film is all set to release on 8th July 2022.

In a statement about Ek Villain Returns, Ekta Kapoor said,

“Ek Villain is back with bigger action, thicker suspense and double the drama. Ek Villain is Balaji’s most special flagship franchise and now Ek Villain Returns keeps the audience on the edge of their seats. I have loved every moment of making this sequel and I am thrilled that the movie will have an Eid release. We are looking forward to giving the audience an out-and-out power-packed theatrical experience."

John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor took to Instagram to share Ek Villain Returns release date update.

They wrote, “Iss baar eidi villain dega! Tareek aap yaad rakhna - 8th July 2022. #EkVillainReturns on EID 2022 ."

Let us tell you, Ek Villain Returns was announced with Aditya Roy Kapur.

Aditya have given a successful film like Aashiqui 2 with Mohit.

However, due to creative differences, Aditya left the film and Arjun Kapoor entered.

Arjun has appeared in Bhoot Police released on Disney Plus Hotstar.

While his last release in theaters is Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, which came before the second wave of the pandemic this year, but the film was a flop.

However, after coming to the OTT platform later, the film got a good audience. This year another film of Arjun Sardar Ka Grandson came on Netflix.

At the same time, John Abraham's last release film is Mumbai Saga, which coincidentally hit the theatres along with Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar on March 19 this year.

Recently John has announced the release date of his another film Satyamev Jayate 2, which is November 26.
