Shubhangi has won two state level awards for her books!

While Shubhangi Gokhale has essayed varied characters and tickled the funny bone of audience's as Mishri Mausi on Lapataganj, the actor is all set to entertain the audience with SAB TV's new offering, Krishan Kanhaiya.

But little did we know that the beautiful lady is not only a brilliant actor but a very good writer too!

Said Shubhangi, "Yes, I am a writer and this is something I do out of passion. I have written a Marathi book titled Rava which means a big parrot. The book narrates the story of a person who wonders of what his destiny has in store for him. I got this inspiration from a song written by Marathi poet, Shanta Shelke."

The book has won two state level awards and Shubhangi now plans to write a second book too.

She averred, "Yes, my second book is in the pipeline."
