Dhanush shaves head & beard as he visits Tirupati Temple

South star Dhanush has set the internet ablaze with his striking new look. The actor recently visited the renowned Tirupati temple in Andhra Pradesh, accompanied by his kids, Yatra and Linga, along with his parents, Kasthuri Raja and Vijayalakshmi. During the visit, Dhanush had an early morning darshan and made a significant offering - he went all bald and shaved off his rugged beard.

Photos and videos of the Atrangi Re actor with his new avatar have been going viral on social media platforms. In the pictures, Dhanush can be seen wearing a Rudraksha garland around his neck, a mask on his face, and a hat on his newly-shaved head. 

While the buzz surrounding Dhanush's new look continues to captivate the audience, reports suggest that this striking makeover is for his much-anticipated upcoming film, tentatively titled 'D50.' In this film, Dhanush will not only star but also take on the directorial reins, making it a project that fans are eagerly looking forward to. The movie is slated to be produced by Sun Pictures and will reportedly feature SJ Surya and other prominent actors in pivotal roles. However, the full cast and crew details are yet to be officially announced.

Prior to his bald and beardless avatar, Dhanush was seen sporting a rugged beard and long tresses for his forthcoming film 'Captain Miller.' The film, directed by Arun Matheswaran, is set against the backdrop of 1930s India and promises to be a gripping tale. 

Alongside Dhanush, 'Captain Miller' will feature Kannada actor Shiva Rajkumar and Telugu actor Sundeep Kishan in key roles, with Priyanka Arul Mohan as the female lead. John Kokken and Nivedhithaa Sathish will be seen in supporting roles. The recently released first look poster showcased Dhanush in a powerful yet emotionally charged depiction, hinting at a compelling cinematic experience.
