Dhanush on willing to remake Amitabh Bachchan's 'Sharaabi' & willing to remake it

Actor Dhanush is indeed a trailblazer where he has not only managed to be a part of some of the finest films but also worked with other legends. One would remember how the actor went on to work with the one and only Amitabh Bachchan in the film, Shamitabh.

In a recent interview with ETimes, Dhanush talked about upcoming Atrangi Re and which Amitabh Bachchan film he would love to remake. Talking about collaborating with Aanand L Rai again, he said, "He’s my brother and I trust him blindly. ‘Atrangi Re’ is a beautiful film. Not very often can an actor be this confident about their film before its release."

Talking about what would it take to work in more Hindi films, he said, "I have made a mental note to do more Hindi films. I am looking for interesting stories. I am interested in all genres. I want to explore new territories."

Interestingly, in the flow of the conversation, Dhanush went on to reveal that he actually wanted to remake Andhadhun. He said, "Sometime ago, I wanted to remake ‘Andhadhun’. But unfortunately, for some reason, I couldn’t get hold of the rights."

Talking about which film he would now wanted to remake, he said, "Amit ji’s (Amitabh Bachchan) film ‘Sharaabi’. That’s a very challenging role and I’d like to take up that challenge."

We would love to see Dhanush in any role, wouldn't we?
