Devi dazzles in dupatta as she twins with mom Bipasha Basu at Gurudwara visit

Bipasha Basu, away from films for a while now, was recently seen sharing a quiet moment with her family. The actor visited a Gurudwara with her husband, actor Karan Singh Grover, and their daughter Devi. She posted a photo on Sunday, where she and Devi are seen twinning in similar dupattas, offering a rare glimpse into their spiritual and personal life.

The photo captures Devi in her father's arms, exchanging a joyful smile with her mother. “Satnam Waheguru,” Bipasha wrote in the caption, reflecting a peaceful moment. Many fans and industry peers flooded the comments section with blessings and warm wishes. Among them, Sophie Choudry dropped heart emojis, while others commented, “Satnaam Waheguru little princess Devi,” and “God bless you all.”

Bipasha and Karan, who first met during the filming of their horror project Alone in 2015, got married the following year in a traditional Bengali ceremony. In November 2022, they welcomed their daughter Devi. Not long after her birth, Devi was diagnosed with a heart condition called ventricular septal defect (VSD). At just three months old, she underwent open-heart surgery—a deeply emotional period that Bipasha and Karan have openly spoken about. They often call their daughter a fighter for her strength during that time.

Since then, Bipasha has chosen to take a step back from her acting career. Her last screen appearance was in the 2020 crime thriller Dangerous, which released on MX Player. The series also featured Karan Singh Grover. Before that, she was seen in Alone in 2015, where she played dual roles.

In a recent conversation with ETimes, Bipasha reflected on her professional break, saying, “I went against the tide always. And it’s always worked for me. So, I do believe that you have to live your life. The work and your life have to kind of be in balance. Mine is not right now. It’s my baby, my baby, my baby. But it is going to come. I think it is the right time. I will do it.”

While she remains focused on motherhood, moments like these show how Bipasha continues to embrace this phase of life with grace.
