Devara Second Single: Jr NTR romances Janhvi Kapoor in Amrapali look; reminds us of mom Sridevi

One of the most anticipated South releases of the year 2024 is Devara. The movie stars Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in lead roles. The second single from the movie will be out on August 5, 2024. Today, the makers have unveiled a new poster featuring the couple. While Jr NTR is in white pants and printed shirt, we can see Janhvi Kapoor in a white Amrapali costume. The look reminds us of what Tamannaah Bhatia wore in Baahubali and what her mother Sridevi wore in Chandni. She looked regal in the Yash Chopra movie. 

Janhvi Kapoor is playing Thangam in the movie. It is the role of a fisherwoman. This is her debut in the Telugu film industry. Jr NTR is playing the role of a mafia leader in the coastal Badlands of South India. Koratala Siva has said that Devara will come in two parts. The film will clash with Jigra this Dussehra at the box office. The actress is full of praise for her co-star Jr NTR. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the songs of Devara. The first look of Janhvi Kapoor looking radiant as she sits by the waters captivated one and all. Sridevi had a huge fan base even in Andhra Pradesh. 

Saif Ali Khan is making his debut as the villain. The actor took special classes to master Telugu language for the film. This is also his first movie in the South Indian film industry. The first looks of both Saif and Jr NTR got a lot of appreciation. It will be distributed in North India by Karan Johar and AA Films. 

The movie got delayed as the VFX work was pending. Devara has some great visuals of the seas, which needed a lot of work. The CGI of the movie also took a lot of work. 

The fans of Jr NTR were worried as the makers were not promoting the film as aggressively. The first song got a good response from everyone. Devara is one of the most expensive movies of Jr NTR’s career. We have to see if this new pair can create magic on the screen.
