“I think what keeps me balanced is just being truthful, being authentic," Deepika shared. “And whenever I am faced with say, complicated situations or difficult situations, to be able to listen to my inner voice and just make decisions, stand by decisions that really give me peace. That is when I feel most in equilibrium."

While Deepika dazzled abroad, speculation around her sudden departure from Spirit continued to swirl. Reports suggested creative and contractual differences, including her request for an eight-hour workday, higher remuneration, and a share in the film’s profits. As a new mother, Deepika is reportedly seeking to maintain a better work-life balance, demands that allegedly didn’t sit well with director Vanga.

Sources suggest Deepika's requests for a higher fee and reduced work hours were related to her star status and new motherhood, as she aimed to balance time for her daughter, Dua. The actress has not yet released an official statement on the matter.

"Spirit," starring Prabhas, is reportedly scheduled to begin filming in October of this year.
