BTS: Namjoon confirms he is not 'married' to Kim Seokjin; promises band's big global comeback in 2026

BTS’ leader Kim Namjoon aka RM took out time to do a VLive with his fans on the occasion of his birthday. He said that BTS was working hard on the new album. RM said all of them are working like regular office-goers as they decided on lyrics, concept and styling for the comeback album. He said that he got inspired seeing J-Hope and SUGA to do a solo tour but he’ll need to prepare for that. He said, as of now, his energies are directed towards the group’s comeback in 2026. RM said it has been years since a proper album or tour, so the band is very keen to make up for lost time in a grand manner.

Namjoon clears up 'marriage rumours' with Kim Seokjin

As we saw earlier, Kim Seokjin has gifted him a 18K ring from Fred for his birthday. RM wore the USD 8,5000 ring on his ring finger. On the live, he clarified that he is not married and he is not going to marry. Kim Namjoon said the ring did not fit him in any other finger hence he had to wear it on his ring finger. He also said that he had dinner with Kim Taehyung at a restaurant in Seoul, and some whiskey with Park Jimin. Jungkook is in the US while J-Hope is now in Japan.

Kim Namjoon also visited the company Open AI who celebrated his birthday as well. Fans were relieved to know that his sleep issues had resolved. RM confessed how he was taking medication from a neuro-psychiatrist from the same as he went days without sleep in the military.

RM said his hair does look a bit like Martin from CORTIS. He said he met Martin who also congratulated him for his birthday. RM said it feels nice to know that there is a HYBE family now. Kim Namjoon confirmed that they’ll tour a number of nations in 2026.
