Well, looks like the 'daily' format of the show did not work out.

Colors' detective show Dev, starring actor Ashish Chowdhry, Puja Banerjee, Sumona Chakravarty and Amit Dolawat in lead roles, was received with a huge response, which prompted the makers to return with a sequel.

However, the makers tweaked the format of the show and made it a daily, instead of its earlier bi-weekly format. Also, the makers roped in actress Jigyasa Singh to be a part of this season.

And looks like the show has completed its short but memorable run.

As decided earlier, the show which was scheduled to be a finite series of 44 episodes, will soon bid goodbye to the show. Dev 2 will air its last episode tonight.

We also hear that the show will have a happy ending.
