Boney Kapoor opens on how he looks at Janhvi, Khushi & Arjun's relationships, "I've resented a few..."

Producer Boney Kapoor recently opened up about his children's romantic entanglements in a candid interview. Despite being a prominent figure in the industry, Boney Kapoor revealed that he has always maintained a hands-off approach when it comes to his children's relationships. 

With Arjun Kapoor's relationship with Malaika Arora, Janhvi Kapoor's rumored beau Shikhar Pahariya, Khushi Kapoor's alleged romance with Vedang Raina, and Anshula Kapoor's connection with Rohan Thakkar, Boney Kapoor has chosen to let his children navigate their love lives independently. 

In a recent chat with News 18 while promoting his upcoming film Maidaan, Boney Kapoor expressed his belief in giving his children the space to make their own choices. He admitted to never being the type of father who dictates his children's dating preferences. 

I've resented a few situations in Arjun, Janhvi, and Khushi's relationships but I've asked them to handle it on their own.

Reflecting on the changing times, Boney Kapoor acknowledged that today's generation matures at a faster pace than his own. He emphasized the importance of allowing them to form their own opinions and navigate relationships on their terms. Despite occasional reservations, he trusts his children to handle any challenges that arise, demonstrating a deep bond of trust and understanding.

As Boney Kapoor actively promotes Maidaan, a film close to his heart, he remains a proud father, supporting his children in both their personal and professional endeavors. The sports drama, backed by Zee Studios and featuring Ajay Devgn, Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, and Rudranil Ghosh, is set to hit theaters worldwide this Eid, on April 10, 2024.
