Bigg Boss 19: Awez Darbar reveals parents’ strained ties shaped his trust issues, says ‘rehna hi nahi kisi ke

Bigg Boss 19 is only a few days old, and the house is already turning into a confessional stage for its contestants. Popular social media influencer Awez Darbar, who entered the show with his rumoured partner Nagma Mirajkar, recently spoke about his troubled past, shedding light on the emotional baggage he carries.

While making his entry, Awez and Nagma had admitted that their relationship is currently on “test” and “trial,” with both figuring things out inside the house. But in the latest episode, Awez revealed that the challenges of his personal life run much deeper.

Opening up to fellow housemates, he recalled the impact of his parents’ separation and the conflicts that surrounded his childhood. “Mere mom dad ke separation ke baad na, voh log alag ho gaye uske baad, mere andar bachpan mei joh jhagde dekha tha… Most of the time kya hota hai malum, galti teri bhi nahi hoti, teri bhi nahi hoti but kisiko sunna hi nahi hai mai kya bolna chah raha hu. Uski vajese lafde hote hai aadhe se zyada,” he said, admitting that unresolved tensions shaped his mindset.

Awez also spoke candidly about a past relationship that left him disillusioned. “Meko koi ladki pasand aa gayi thi… Mai apna 100% dunga toh shayad sab thik rahega. Par bhai voh madam ji ne mere aaju baaju jitne dost the sabke sath mei… Tabse mera mind aisa ho gaya ki I think nahi karna hai. Muje rehna hi nahi kisi ke sath.”

Awez is the younger son of renowned music composer Ismail Darbar, a figure no stranger to controversies. From his public spat with A.R. Rahman to a police case involving an assistant director, Ismail’s turbulent personal and professional life has often made headlines. His second marriage to Ayesha reportedly created friction with Awez’s mother, Farzana, with media reports even claiming an ugly physical fight between the two women.

Awez, who has three siblings, is also connected to the Bigg Boss world through family. His brother, Zaid Darbar, is married to Gauahar Khan, the winner of Bigg Boss season 7.

With such a complex personal history, Awez’s emotional revelations inside the house add another layer of intrigue to Bigg Boss 19’s unfolding drama.
