Bhaskar Jha says, "What better debut can an actor ask for" amid 'Laapata Ladies' OTT frenzy

Actor Bhaskar Jha made his debut in acting with the film Laapataa Ladies and carved a special space for himself in the hearts of the audience. Recently, in a conversation with us, Bhaskar talked about his debut project, character and feedback.

Talking about his debut project, Bhaskar says, "What better debut can an actor ask for? Working on a film directed by Kiran Rao Ma’am, produced by Aamir Khan Sir and having Ravi Kishan Sir as my co-star, was truly a golden opportunity for my career. The story of the film was so encouraging that it made audiences rethink about social norms. Before this project, I never got an opportunity to play a full-fledged role and playing Pradeep in this film was like my dream come true."

Further talking about his character in the film, Bhaskar says, "I played the antagonist, Pradeep. He is an important part in the storyline. Pradeep can go to any extent to take revenge, and he is only concerned about money and other materialistic things. One will hate my character by only hearing about his characteristics."

Lastly, sharing the review he received for his performance, Bhaskar says, "the response has been so overwhelming. My character is getting good reviews from the audience; it was a negative character but audience liked the performance. So portraying a character in such a way that people truly connect to it, is really rewarding."
