Murder Meri Jaan on Hotstar narrates the story of Sonal and ACP Aditya. While Tanuj is playing a smart cop Barkha is a clever con woman, and together, they will try to solve a crime but the biggest case to solve is their marriage. We got in touch with Barkha where she got talking about the show, OTT and more. Read what did she have to say to us here.

She got talking about her show Murder Meri Jaan and told us, ''With a super fun and fast paced storyline, eccentric characters and the hilarious circumstances that they find themselves in, Murder Meri Jaan is a complete entertainment package. My character Sonal is an innocent-looking, but a very sharp young girl with a long criminal history that includes duping men after marrying them. You never know what's on her mind. Things turn awry when her latest catch is none other than a police officer himself, resulting in a series of difficult and funny situations for both her and ACP Aditya.''

Ask her about the boom of OTT and she says, ''I think that the OTT boom is great for all of us, both as viewers and creators. There are so many more fantastic projects being worked on and so much more content to be consumed at our convenience. I am a subscriber of all platforms including YouTube as well. There will obviously be a special place in my heart for going to the movies and seeing myself on that 70 mm screen, but OTT has definitely reset that notion that the best content in India only debuts in theatres.''

Finally, given how everyone is worried, she feels blessed to be able to find work in such tough times. She says, ''I count myself amongst the fortunate ones who got to work through such difficult times. Obviously, the new reality required us to follow stringent new protocols including regular testing, sanitization and quarantining. While the end product looks no different from the content shot before the pandemic, behind the scenes is a cast and crew sacrificing a lot to keep themselves and their families safe.''

Barkha was last seen in Silence, which release in March 2021 and has a couple of upcoming projects ahead, the details of which are currently under wraps.
