Bade Achhe Lagte Hain Naya Season: Ribbhu Mehra joins the show as this pivotal character

Actor Ribbhu Mehra, well-known for his role in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, is thrilled to be a part of Ekta Kapoor’s popular show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 4. The series, starring Harshad Chopda and Shivangi Joshi, has been receiving a lot of love from audiences, and Ribbhu feels fortunate to join the cast in the role of Nikhil.

Speaking about his experience on set, Ribbhu shared how much he enjoys working with the lead actors. He said, “Shivangi and Harshad are amazing co-stars. The environment on set is very positive and cheerful. We share a lot of laughs during rehearsals, and there is always some fun leg-pulling happening in good spirit.”

Although it has only been a week since he started shooting, Ribbhu is confident that his bond with the cast will only grow stronger with time. “Right now, we have a good working relationship as colleagues, but I am sure in the coming days we will develop a deeper friendship,” he added.

The actor praised his co-stars further, especially Harshad Chopda. “Both Harshad and Shivangi have been very welcoming. I have interacted more with Harshad, and we often talk about fitness. I really admire his dedication to maintaining his physique—it is commendable. I feel grateful to work alongside such talented and warm people,” he expressed.

Ribbhu plays the recurring character of Nikhil in the show. He revealed more about his role, saying, “I am delighted to join one of the most loved shows on television. My character, Nikhil, is Bhagyashree’s (played by Shivangi Joshi) former lover. In the past, he broke her heart by not showing up for their wedding.”

The storyline has recently taken a six-month leap, introducing new dynamics to the narrative. Ribbhu explained, “After the leap, Nikhil returns to Bhagyashree’s life as a friend. He helps her secure a job at his workplace and is remorseful for his past mistakes. He regrets hurting her and wishes to make amends. While he hopes to win her back, he also respects her decision to only remain friends for now.” According to him, the character is positive, supportive, and determined to see Bhagyashree happy, whether or not she accepts him again.

Ribbhu Mehra has previously been seen in popular shows like Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Bohot Pyaar Karte Hai, Kumkum Bhagya, and My Name Ijj Lakhan. With his entry in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 4, fans are eager to watch how his character shapes Bhagyashree’s journey and adds new layers to the story.
